Alexandria Running Festival – Half Marathon & 5K

RunningBrooke partners with the Marathon Charity Cooperation to bring you the Alexandria Running and Family Festivals. For five years, over 2,000 runners from the greater D.C. metro area and across the country come to Alexandria to run in the Spring.

Fast and mostly flat, our 1/2 marathon, 5K and 1K kids’ fun run offers a scenic and shaded course alongside creeks and on trails and through parks. We have the most enthusiastic volunteers and a great finish line festival with massages, kids’ activities and a beer garden.

Join fellow runners, Mayor Bill Euille, the Alexandria Town Crier and the US Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Band to celebrate Memorial Day weekend and honor our service members. See you there!
