Volunteers Participate at Hume Springs Park Playground

Brooke and Kids Jumping

We researched it, you donated money for it, now see the work completed.

Thanks to our generous donors and partners, the Hume Springs Park playground at 100 Dale Street in Arlandria is completely overhauled to provide a fun, safe play space for children under 5. Visit the Hume Spring Park playground page for directions and park activities.

This tribute from a playground neighbor:
“Before the park was renovated, there was an old, towering chain link fence all the way around the park, and it really made the park feel separated from the surrounding sidewalks and streets. When that fence came down and was replaced with a new shorter one, it opened the park up and made it feel like part of the neighborhood again.”

Volunteer for our next playground renovation. Email us to sign up and find out more at: volunteer@runningbrooke.org.

Partners:  City of Alexandria Parks & Recreation, Rebuilding Together Alexandria, The Brickman Group, Simpson Development, The Rotary Club of Alexandria, Hume Springs Neighborhood Association & over 400 generous donors.
