RunningBrooke awards $57,030.00 to ten Alexandria non-profits on January 22, 2015

During our 2015 grant cycle we received 19 applications totaling more than $160,000.  We awarded grants to 10 Alexandria non-profits whose programs fit into the following categories:

• Prepare children for school (early care and education)
• Keep children in school (tutoring, mentoring, etc.)
• Get children outside and moving (physical activity programs, playground revitalization, etc.)
