2016 Move2Learn Grant Awards Ceremony

Last December, RunningBrooke received $155,230.00 in funding requests to serve 10,545 kids. On February 10th, RunningBrooke granted $70,000.00 to serve 6,380 at-risk Alexandria kids through 12 local nonprofits.  

This year, funding priority was given to non-profits who use exercise and physical activity to boost learning.  Throughout 2016, the RunningBrooke Grant Committee will make 24 site visits and attentively steward and oversee program funding. Charity partners who received an award will provide Midyear and Final Move2Learn reports which will provide progress updates on your gifts.
